Within its boundaries are three large urban areas, smaller and medium sized cities and towns while encompassing a large area in Kansas and Missouri. | Heartland Center Our Goals. To share the Good News of Jesus Christ, to help lay the foundation for a personal relationship with God, to ensure that every camper understands they are loved as they are as a child of God, to foster understanding and stewardship of God's Creation and to enjoy fun in safe, exciting and inclusive activities. Activities include worship, swimming, camp fires, singing, bible study, hiking, games, horseback riding, team building challenges and crafts. Some camps have specialized activities and experiences which are described in more detail at www.HeartlandCenter.org. High and Team Challenge Courses. Designed to bring your group together and to provide opportunities for individuals to stretch their comfort zones, our Challenge Courses are sure to please. The course includes a 40-foot climbing tower.....The Spider's Web, All Aboard, a 200" zip line and so much more! Come SOAR with us! Team Course for all Campers, High Curse for 4th grade (Highlanders) an older. Archery. Campers will get an opportunity learn how to safely and accurately operate a bow and will practice and improve their skills. For campers 4th grade (Highlanders) and older. Horseback Riding. Rides are designed for safety and enjoyment. Our horses bring you face-to-face with the beauty of our trails and forest. All campers can enjoy a safe, guided horseback ride. "God's Critter Shack" Nature Center. Campers will enjoy hands-on exploration and learning in the beauty of God's creation. Our discoveries and activities connect campers to the wonders around them. We aim to encourage campers to fulfill God's call to be stewards (caretakers) of creation. Available to all campers.
